Yohara
Champion Levels
You can become Champions on the new continent and ascend through 30 new levels. You can only collect the experience points for this on the new Yohara maps. Champion Levels are displayed above your head in blue. This lets you instantly know who has already begun their Champion’s journey.
Become a Champion in four easy steps:
- Level up your character to level 120
- Fill 2 EXP Marbles (50% EXP)
- Successfully complete the Ship Defence by defeating the Hydra
- Speak with the harbour statue From this point on you start at Champion Level 1. You can level up to Champion Level 30. EXP towards Champion Levels can only be earned on the new continent either by defeating monsters or completing quests. Issues in the old world, such as drops and Yang, are handled *the same as at level 120. When you learn from skill books, it costs old-world EXP. However, if you die and lose EXP, it affects your Champion EXP.
Champion Levels are displayed above your head in blue, normal levels in yellow. This lets you instantly know who has already begun their Champion's journey.
Champions have an additional page in their character profile which shows your new attributes. The page is visible before then, but you cannot increase the stats there by levelling up prior to becoming a Champion. Main interest here are your Sung Ma's will in four attributes like your precision. With each full Champion EXP Marble and each Champion Level up, you receive points which you can distribute to this values.
Sung Ma's Will
Your Sung Ma's Will As a Champion you receive four new stats which you can increase with each new EXP marble. This is how you improve your Sung Ma's will in the four attributes RES, INT, VIT and STR. Each monster and every map on the new continent has corresponding stats, because the will of the dark Demon God, Sung Mahi, is omnipresent here.
Your goal is raise your will stats above the corresponding stats of the map and monsters. If your stats are comparatively low, you can expect to be at a disadvantage. However, the higher your Sung Ma's will, the better your chances against the monsters and the faster you can move. You can see how high the Sung Ma stats are for the current map in the effect bar on the top of the screen.
Sung Ma's Will (STR)
This stat represents the strength of your spirit. If it is higher than the Sung Ma's will (STR) of the monsters you fight or the map you're on, you receive a bonus to the damage you inflict. If the stat is lower, you inflict 50% less damage.
Sung Ma's Will (RES)
This stat expresses your spirit's power to resist Sung Mahi's evil magic. If your stat is higher than the map's, you move faster. If it is lower in comparison, your movement speed decreases.
Sung Ma's Will (VIT)
This stat shows your spirit's endurance. In contrast to the Sung Ma's will (VIT) of the monsters and the map, it affects your maximum HP: if your stat is higher, you receive a bonus. If it is lower, you are penalised by 50%.
Sung Ma's Will (INT)
This stat stands for the sharpness of your mind. The higher your Sung Ma's will (INT) is above that of the monsters or the map, your chance to inflict bleed, poison and stun is higher. If it is lower, your chance to inflict those are lower.
How to Increase your Sung Ma's Will
There are different ways to strength your will: you can raise it by levelling, equipping certain items or completing quests.
Levelling
The easiest way to improve your Sung Ma's will is by levelling: for each full Champion EXP Marble and Champion Level you receive points which you can distribute to the stats of your liking.
Equipment
There are different kinds of equipment which can improve your stats:
In Yohara you can mine and refine new materials: Smoky Jadite, Sun Jadite, Fog Jadite and Dark Jadite. With this you can craft necklaces, earrings and bracelets which improve one of the four stats depending on the material.
In the course of the main quest in Yohara, you can unlock the equipment slot for gloves. Gloves can especially raise one of the four stats depending on the design.
The new will talismans and Mysterious talismans from +0 to +9 also increase your Sung Ma's will.
New Spirit Stones give your gloves the final touch with additional bonuses to the Sung Ma's will. If you're lucky, you might loot some Demon Stones on the new continent. You have to make Mighty Demon Stones yourself, but they offer you special benefits – the chance of doubling the stat increase when attaching them. You can improve the new Spirit Stones up to +4.
Quests
When entering the Abandoned Fortress you will have a Quest to defeat 300 Yohara Monsters. Once defeated the Quest will grant you +1 Sung Ma's Will (RES) permanently.
Finishing the Glove Quest in the Dong Gwang Plain will also net you +5 Sung Ma's Will (RES) permanently.
Chaegirab the biologist is researching the monsters and plant-life on Yohara. Depending on your progress on the new continent, you can bring him Purified Cores, Metin Crystals or Shadowferns. Successfully lending him a hand in his research will net you a randomly chosen +5 Sung Ma's Will Stat permanently.
Outposts
You will notice another Quest in your Main Quest Tab called 'Search the Area'
You can chose 1 of 3 Locations in which you want to complete this repeatable Quest:
- Dong Gwang Plain
- Seo Gwang Wastelands
- Nam Gwang Chasm
Once you've decided in which Location you want to complete the Quest, a Marker will appear on the Map. Go to it to progress. Once you're at the Markers Location you have to reopen your Main Quest Tab and click on 'Search the Area', which will now tell you to defeat 3 Outposts.
- On the Dong Gwang Plain you’ll find up to 25 Troll Outposts.
- Up to 25 Quag Outposts may be set up in the Seo Gwang Wastelands.
- Likewise up to 25 Quag Outposts can be found in the Nam Gwang Chasm.
Successfully defeating all 3 Outposts will grant you randomly a +5 Buff to one of Sung Ma's Attributes (STR, RES, VIT, INT) for 30 Minutes.
This Quest can be repeated indefinetly, replacing the old Buff, if you don't like what you received.
